Yes, because acne is related to hormones. Messes up the body? nah, it balances out some hormones for women.

Keep trying to demonise it though, and I will protect it, its something I take for things that have nothing to do with birth control

The pill been around for some time now

• Virtually all women (more than 99%) aged 15–44 who have ever had sexual intercourse have used at least one contraceptive method.[2]

• Overall, 62% of the 62 million women aged 15–44 are currently using a method.
Lets lay out another fact....CONTRACEPTION IS LEGAL EVERYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES

Nobody is denying women the right to get contraception in the store or at the hospital.

The left is deliberately trying to undermine the constitution by going against the 1st amendment.... right to religious freedom

Hung up on that are we? I have no idea how much it would cost to got to a Dr annually, have the tests done, pay for prescriptions without insurance but it doesn't change the issue either way.

That's not entirely true. Some people want to use a religious exemption to NOT provide some types of contraception. Even at stores and hospitals. That is the whole reason this controversy exists afterall.

Probably because you have the state entering into the affairs of religion. Only blind ideological nut-job *******s can interpret

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof
to mean

Congress can have an orgy of laws with no respect for an established religion
The only possible answer is they have a mental disease or a sever reading disorder with a little authoritarianism thrown in.

People are only morally and religiously opposed to BCP and don't want to provide it because "the state" is doing something? That makes no sense.

You may want to reread that Amendment, and the 200+ years of case law that followed and get back to us on this.

"Right to religious freedom" is not in the Constitution.

Good lord, THERE IS NO TAXPAYER MONEY INVOLVED IN THIS ISSUE. It's a private insurance plan.

AND, being a "Religious Institution," means Georgetown University gets to shirk paying taxes!
