I personally really dont care about the constitution it has alot vague clauses
that are left up to interpretation, oh and Ron Paul supporters if the constitution was concrete we wouldnt need hundreds of lawyers and judges duking it out and the courts.

the constitution was written by four white guys who owned slaves and molested 13 yr old girls they had some progessive ideas for there time that they built on from the Greeks,Romans and the French but it was written along time ago,and they gave us the flexibility to change it.

We should generally keep the basic tenants of its like freedom speech, etc etc.
but we are competing against countries like canada,Germany and China,
and we should not let an outdated document impede progress.

It was left vague on purpose.

As an aside, how does our constitution hinder our competition with other countries?

The OP does not understand such things. It looks like he has never even read it.
Don't waste your time.

So you are o.k. with the original Bill of Rights 10 Amendments ?

Don't you think that we are competing with the Chinese and others because our government has superseded its power thru overtaxation and regulations by proxy Big Government Agencies of unelected officals [CZARS]?

As others have said, what is vague about it?

That part was fixed via the amendment process. They knew they were not perfect and put in a process for change. The process works even though some of the amendments were stupid (prohibition).

It doesn't. It limits (if followed) what the government can do. This frees the individual to do what he does best - innovate. Are you advocating for central planning?

So move to Canada, Germany or China, I'm sure you would be much happier there where you won't have to deal with the Constitution of the United States of America.

Obviously OP has never served in the military, otherwise this thread wouldn't exist.

At least you admit it.

It gets in the way of the left's agenda, doesn't it.
