President Hamid Karzai’s remarks Tuesday backing the Ulema Council’s document, which allows husbands to beat wives under certain circumstances and encourages segregation of the sexes, is seen as part of his outreach to insurgents like the Taliban.
Why are American tax dollars being used to prop up sexist psychopaths who think that wife beating is just fine? Build a fence around the country. Then tell any Afghani woman who does not want to be treated like a stupid child or a cow she can leave and GET OUT. Then we leave.
