So the propaganda team set up a blame graph, go figure.
It takes an extremely weak personality to immediately start blaming everyone else when things start to go wrong. I can only imagine what his two children get fed when the pancakes are burnt, the dishes aren't done or there is no toilet paper on the holder. I bet Obama goes into a raging finger-pointing fury.
It shows quite clearly that the president has next to no influence on gas prices which is correct, anyone that blames the president for the high prices is just a misguided fool.
Sky high gas prices are a perfect example of those right wing "free markets!" "less regulations!" at work.
Wait! Why is the White House doing this? Aren't the liberals claiming there's nothing at all that Obama can do about the economy and fuel prices?
But there are illiterates among us. Even if it helps only a few...

Yep, and it takes "a grown up" to blame to Obama without making anything but a point on "drill baby drill".
No its not. It must also demand the international community to join hands and regulate speculation which is a part of the problem. Germany tried it in 2008, and that attempt fell on deaf ears.
At least we know that Sec. Chu does not think his duty as the head of the US Energy Department is to ensure that America has affordable gasoline and oil. He has been quoted stating he hopes we have $10/gal gas prices like they have in Europe.
Seriously though, we can all agree with your comment. We need to bring oil prices inline with reality, or the US should get off the global oil market. We could start the North American Oil Market Inc., or NAOMI. It even sounds better then OPEC.
Booboo tries to take credit for petrolium production? Both oil and natural gas production are down significantly on federal lands, which is the only thing the executive branch has a direct impact on. It is UP on PRIVATE lands. So overall oil production is up IN SPITE OF Obama's war on oil, not because of anything he has done.
Former Shell Oil President John Hofmeister said Sunday that new production of oil mainly takes place on private land, because federal land permits have been “dramatically reduced in the last several years.”
“Where the land is commonly held, actually, that’s only on federal land, and as I said, federal land permits have been reduced dramatically in the last several years. Private land – mineral rights to private land – are in many states the ownership of the land owner, not the federal government, not the people, but the land owner. And where those private rights exist, that’s mainly where new production is taking place,” he said.

“If we produced 10 [million barrels a day] – which we used to and we could today, if we were allowed to – that would have an ameliorating effect on global prices,” Hofmeister said.
“We do not sell crude oil – other than a very small amount from Alaska – outside the country. We consume all the crude oil. Plus, we import between 11 and 13 million barrels a day from other parts of the world into this country,” he said. “So the caller may not understand that we don’t produce enough crude oil to ship it to other parts of the world. And we need another, almost twice as much crude oil, just to get through everyday.”

You're learning. It ain't government's responsibility to deliver you cheap oil for life. It does happen, however, in countries like Venezuela.
What it can do, however, is to ensure that prices aren't being dictated by corruption.

But booboo knows something you don't seem to have a clue about. While you cry a river about not producing enough from lands you clearly want to promote your idea of "drill baby drill... cheap oil is forever", you should learn LACK OF PRODUCTION IS NOT AN ISSUE.

....
Everything that this administration is "a load of you-know-what," to quote the president himself. While it's true that oil production has increased that is the result of decisions made long before he became president. But if you look at the decisions he has taken in relation to oil production they show a hostility to oil production on federal lands, in the gulf of Mexico and off-shore. So he's taking credit where none is due.
And what is the reason demand is down? Could it be the result of a stalled economy (which Obama owns) and higher gas prices which curb driving? If the president were honest with the American people he would tell us that higher gas prices are a necessary part of his overall plan to move us away from fossil fuels and on to alternative sources of energy. In other words he wants to inflict as much pain as he can politically get away with as a means of changing our behavior. But, you see, liberals can't get elected if they square with the American public. Trust me, if Obama is re-elected there is a lot more pain to come.
U.S. proved reserves of oil total 19.1 billion barrels, reserves of natural gas total 244.7 trillion cubic feet, and natural gas liquids reserves of 9.3 billion barrels. Undiscovered technically recoverable oil in the United States is 145.5 billion barrels, and undiscovered technically recoverable natural gas is 1,162.7 trillion cubic feet.
Again - 2010 numbers, so it's 19.1 instead of 20 billion - but the point is they are estimating 145 billion barrels could be recovered in this country.
So the 2% is only what Obama administration chooses to recover. - And if you add it up, it puts us around Canada's level of production, which is in the top 5 in the world.
The part in yellow about the US having 2% of the world's reserves is a total lie and/or misrepresentation.
Lets assume you're believable. That doesn't address the topic at hand.
