If someone wants one they should buy one. IT should not be subsidized. If no one is willing to pay real retail then it has no right being on the market.
Why do folks guffaw at all the efforts to make fuel efficient cars, like electrics, when it is clear that oil is increasingly volatile?
Well, most American think the price of gas will go down. It will, and the lower prices will once again make people think there is not enough reason to develop alternatives. The cycle continues.... But, fortunately, we have a Prez that is working very hard at promoting alternative development and more stringent fuel economy regs.

Because it is wildly over priced, you can't go very far on a charge and it has a propensity to spontaneously combust. Other than that, it's a fine automobile.
Because diesels make much more sense, except to the EPA and the Trendies
