Oh and for you loons who think Obama has nothing to do with the rise in gas prices please explain this..........

"The Obama administration itself is in a bind over squeezing too hard and tightening oil supplies across the world. While Washington has offered to wean India and other countries from Iranian oil by arranging supplies from Saudi Arabia and Iraq, that could come at its own expense and rising oil prices. Already, gas prices are close to $ 4 a gallon at US pumps, and it is a well-acknowledged fact that the fortunes of US politicians running for high office is linked to pain (or otherwise) at the pump. "

Once again your orator caught lying to you and you swooner just grab your ankles and yell "thank you sir may I have another".

At a Congressional hearing earlier this month Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told lawmakers that while the US remains concerned about India's links with Iran, she acknowledged that New Delhi is ''heading in the right direction''.

"In fact, I think in a number of instances, the actions of countries and their banks are better than the public statements that we sometimes hear them making," Clinton said in an indication of the Indian assurances. From your Source

It means that if Obama tries to tighten the screws on Iran, which produces oil, then the supply is constrained. But if he doesn't tighten the screws on Iran, you'll say that he's weak on our enemies. So it sounds like you're arguing for a more submissive approach with Iran.

Of note..........India recently started purchasing oil from Iran in gold rather than US dollars. This has more to do with it than anything. This will get interesting very quickly. If China and Russia follow suit we are in a world of hurt.
India buying oil with gold is the real issue here, as you said. When world economies start weaning themself off the US Dollar, there will be anarchy from the United States in the form Massive Bullying On An International Scale. Oil trades in US Dollars are the only leverage we have.....when it's gone....the we then become desperate and militant. Guaranteed.

That is nothing remotely to what I said. Iran has had an oil bourse for years and has been trying to trade in non US currency. Sanctions have put a stop to this for the most part the last ten years or so. Russia, China and now it appears India see this as the time to break our hold on the oil trade with opec and is using Iran as their proxy to get this done. It's quite obvious if you pay attention. That is the only reason there will be a war over there. Nukes are all the boogy man in the room.

This is starting to look like a very serious situation. The only option we have is war if it comes to it or like you say sit back and let the chips fall. Those chips will destroy what is left of the economy and the US will be in turmoil. That has been the plan for some time although going into Libya didn't follow the Obama script. I'm guessing others made that decision for him.

But you're one of the vocal member of "Defend Israel Brigade". Or, did something happen to you last night that has you make a 180-degree turnaround?

Maybe you should pay attention to my posts instead of putting folks into your little categories. Now do you have an opinion on the ramifications of the sanctions proposed on India??

Okay, so India is buying oil from a country we don't want to have nukes... If you believe that tripe.

India (a country with lots of nuclear bombs) is going to say, sorry?

Or India is going to help Iran get nukes?

I think the rulers of India, don't like to be told what to do. So they will say F. U.
O'Bama.... kiss our dots.

India will trade nuclear tech. (most likely missile tech.) in order to get oil from Iran. There by by passing any sanctions.

Iran will say, to India... go ahead and take back Pakistan.

I'm thinking our State dept. is hell bent on WWIII.

Any questions?
