Cool heads should prevail and bring us back to reality:
The strongest factor is that neither Iran nor US have a real interest in fighting a war. There is little to win, but a lot to lose for everyone. The problem is escalating rhetoric, that eventually prompts posts like the OP. When people climb high trees, sometimes getting down is quite problematic.

Hang on then, Paul Bunyan is in town, and he's ready to clear the forest.

The evidence is circumstantial, but compelling -- to me at least and to most observers. Google it if you care to.

I've read numerous articles claiming that, none had any evidence or even made a compelling argument for it.

And the more you look for evidence you stumble upon article after article where high level intel heads directly say they aren't seeking weapons and that they are no threat. They're also saying striking Iran would be a terrible mistake.

But then we have the NY Daily News with 2 page spreads showing how Israel will attack Iran and where the US will aid them.

But that's why I'm asking for you to show me the way. If you don't mind give me some keywords to Google search so I can read what you read. Or direct links would be better, thanks.

As for them attacking a US ship constituting war... Did it constitute war with Israel when they did it ?

Generally speaking people need to just forget about all this Iran junk. Focus on America is what I say.

**Everyone who supports attacking Iran for Israel go JOIN THE ISRAELLI MILITARY NOW, get away from the comfort of your room , put your life where your mouth/fingers are and go and fight the war**
^instead of sending other peoples children to die over foreign policy.

Spot on!

what if we wrap our heads around the fact that somebody is actually lying to the public?

i found this interesting today in the news:

Moving along, it's been a rough couple of weeks for MF Global Trustee Louis Freeh. We learned the former FBI director is being investigated by the Treasury Department for allegedly taking tens of thousands of dollars in speaking fees from a designated Iranian terrorist group.

that's right, our former FBI director---not to mention the fact that this government appointed trustee takes an MF insurance policy away from customers to pay Corzine's legal defense.

zero hedge:

it's getting easier to connect the dots.

I don't believe Iran has the capability to take down America. Even if they had nuclear weapons, those would only hit our military bases in the middle east.

This article summarizations the UN report quite nicely. It is not a biased propaganda piece either way.

And there you have it. But the chickenhawks would have you believe that if you're against war you're unpatriotic.
