The reclusive, super-wealthy Republican donor Harold Simmons sat down for an interview with the Wall Street Journal in which he explained why he decided to donate $18 million to conservative super PACs. To put it bluntly: he despises and fears President Barack Obama.

"Any of these Republicans would make a better president than that socialist, Obama," Simmons told the Journal

While Simmons bemoans the suffocating effect Obama has had on the free enterprise, the Journal notes that his own net worth is skyrocketing under this presidency, from $4.1 billion in 2006 to an estimated $10 billion today.

Wish I were dictator for 10 seconds. I would make 1 rule.

For the crime of extreme hyperbole in mis-use of the word socialist, I hereby sentence Harold Simmons to life of paying Norwegian taxes both income and VAT. However, Going forward and now being subject to them, he is now allowed to use to use this word as he wishes as he is actually paying socialist tax rates.

What is the SCOTUS thinking when they allowed superpacs?

Cool lol...

In a incredulous quote "Simmons told the Journal (subscription required), in what is the piece's most provocative quote. "Obama is the most dangerous American alive … because he would eliminate free enterprise in this country."

lol...free enterprise seems to be wracking up the profits for him under the current Administration.

Do you remember all the wingnuts taking their talking points from FOX and the other shriekers and screaming "Activist Judges" about Obama's selections to the Court, yet the conservative "Activist" judges on the S.C. allowed Citizens United to pass and thereby allow the wealthiest Americans to freely purchase the government of their choosing.

By the people, for the people? Ha Ha Ha Ha!!
