But on a serious note, not only do you have a messed up idea of Islam and communism, so much so that you see the latter as sitting well with Islamic theocracy, you are also utterly clueless about the political set up elsewhere. But then, that also applies to your ideas of your own country's political architecture. Hint: Democratic Socialism, or Social Democrats <> Communism.

I'm a republican and even I know that Obama is one of the more moderate liberals to hold office. The **** that came out of his mouth before he took office, in his earlier days as a politician was largely liberal BS, but he never really lived up to the expectations of the far left.

Let us hope NOBODY lives up to the expectations of the far left or the far right. That will be a disaster at hand.
As for Obama, I was amused at people (and the culprits were usually right wing talk show pundits) talking about Obama as an extreme leftists. I saw two possibilities:
1- They were dumb.
2- They weren't, but their audience were.
Who on the right says that? Very small fringe groups who speak louder than the whole... that's who. Threads like these should be locked and the poster given 3 day suspensions.
