Political stance vs. adventurousness in food

Lately I have been eating beets after reading about the health benefits. It gives your pee a pinkish tinge which I definitely would categorize as 'adventurous.'

It does show the demographics of the forum. 14-5 self-described righties vs lefties.

Over time, I've noticed a connection here, but I'm not sure it really exists or whether my mind is trying to construct patterns out of randomness.

Other than showing what people on this particular site do or what people in general do this won't show much of anything.

I will eat almost anything, I love trying new things. The only thing I draw the line at is turkey bacon. For two things that are delicious on their own, Bacon and Turkey, the combination is pretty awful.

I would imagine Democrats also eat more Fried Fish and Sweet Potato Pies than Republicans.

There is a difference between not liking something and refusing to try something.

There are a lot of things I do not like, but I am willing to try new stuff all the time. I am currently on the hunt for balut (fetal duck eggs which is a Filipino delicacy) and I have eaten a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, and meats from all around the world.

(It was pretty grisly.)
