Lately I have been eating beets after reading about the health benefits. It gives your pee a pinkish tinge which I definitely would categorize as 'adventurous.'
I will eat almost anything, I love trying new things. The only thing I draw the line at is turkey bacon. For two things that are delicious on their own, Bacon and Turkey, the combination is pretty awful.

There are a lot of things I do not like, but I am willing to try new stuff all the time. I am currently on the hunt for balut (fetal duck eggs which is a Filipino delicacy) and I have eaten a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, and meats from all around the world.
One of my favorite things about living in Chicago is that there's so much great food to be sampled, savored and enjoyed.
I once ate bear at Cafe' Bohemia.
(It was pretty grisly.)
