Assuming you are right, do you believe for a second that a single payer system would be supported by Republicans? They would be screaming socialism (and picking up insurance kickbacks) all the way from here to 2030, as would a healthy share of Democrats. Expecting our government to do right by its people is apparently no longer possible in this country, because the corporations are now citizens and the ones who get serviced.

It is all about bending over before corporate power. I can see way the scummy politicians do it. What I cannot understand is why conservative working class people do it. I am amazed with all the endless apologists for corporate greed, crowing about the brilliance of paid shills, and generally acting like attack dogs on the leash of guys like Trump, Romney,Murdoch, Koch, etc.
As long as the single payer was funded by more than a single payer (the rich guy) the republicans would support it. The issue has never been what the media portrays. The issue has been that every plan ever proposed by the democrats, including this one, is not about coverage or access, but simply free care courtesy of that rich guy. To the Democrats single payer means Bill Gates or Warren Buffet pays for everyone.

If and when there is a single payer plan based on a payroll deduction with no refundable credits which everyone pays into I'll vote for the candidate or support the plan.

Really, Mr. President, you don't understand how an "unelected" group of people can strike down a bill? Ever heard of Separation of Powers or checks and balances? You can't govern by fiat, Mr. Obama.

If it were a Republican, the outrage would register on the Richter Scale at Cal Tech.

You know that the court will rule in favor of the law.
It was never up for question.
The court will make good theater to cover themselves, but it was a done deal from day one.
The trick is to get the sheeple to believe them. That is going to be more difficult on this one. They smell a shearing big time.

I remember another mad man that was elected and lied to the people.. his charisma was his tool to the masses and they gladly kept him in power. His ego was so big he wanted to take over the world. He didn't succeed.
Seems he succeeded in destroying his country, as well as millions of innocent people?

He governs by decree.

He will negate the ruling should they declare it beyond the scope of the Constitution. He will use the Alinsky method to argue it. He will declare it stands and will be implemented because HE got it passed through HIS version of legislature means.

He may simply decree the court abolished, their ruling negated.

Think he's beyond throwing a few peeps under a bus to get his way?

Study him.

Agreed. He orders the AG not to enforce laws he disagrees with.
