Coca Cola caved on the ALEC group.

Coca-Cola ends ties to conservative law writers | US National Headlines | Comcast (http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-national/20120405/US.Voter.ID.Coca.Cola/?cid=hero_media - broken link)

WASHINGTON — Coca-Cola Co. has terminated its relationship with a conservative group seen by some as an incubator for a string of new state voter ID laws and a marketer of laws like Florida's "Stand Your Ground" self-defense statute.

The Atlanta-based soft drink maker said its focus with the American Legislative Exchange Council, or ALEC, was on combating "discriminatory" food and beverage taxes, not on issues "that have no direct bearing" on its business.

I guess I will have to drink a Dr. Pepper since Coke is no longer legal for drinking. Nah, I was hell bent on getting out a Coke and guess I will do just that.

And why is an ID good only for a rich person? Why is it not also good for anyone who wants to have a positive ID?

So do poor people not buy draino? You have to have an ID to buy draino in Chicago. Are poor people disenfranchised to the point of not being able to clean their drains?

And an ID to get a gun. Do poor people not own guns?

And an ID to get alcohol. Do poor people not drink alcohol?

etc, etc.

It no doubt was planned in a backroom when they knew Obama may be running for President. What a cult.
I think if you were to do a little checking instead of just, well never mind.

Check out ACORN and Voter ID in a timeline.
