I must ask though (and I'm not excusing the crime), but what was he doing out there by himself?? You wouldn't catch me dead in Baltimore by myself, let alone at night.
They say the victim is unidentified, so he didn't report this assault. I wonder why??
Because he didn't want to show the world his stupidity...
What stupidity? Was he hanging out with these guys thinking they were his friends?? WTF.....this seriously has me upset. I HATE when mofos act like this.
I had to make a delivery once in a bad area of Baltimore.. It was just about dusk and I don't mind saying I was scared. I got unloaded and got outta there as quick as I could. I have gone to some pretty bad places in my career, but I have to say, that was one of the worst for this old man.
What's the cause to believe it's a bias motivated crime?
That's what I'm wondering too. A crime is still a crime, and anything of this sort is equally despicable... but can the OP please explain how it qualifies as a hate crime? Funny how a woman can attack a man while screaming homophobic slurs, and people will question her motivations - but when somebody is attacked in what appears to be non-specific assault, they suddenly don't need ANY evidence of a racial motivation? The double standards are astonishing in these issues, and that goes both ways sometimes.
P.S. I watched the video (which was very difficult to witness), and the only ethnic slur I heard was "n***ah." So if you're going to call racial bias on this one, should the perpetrator be charged with a hate crime against blacks? Hmmm.
