I'm sure he'll throw some scraps their way to keep em in line for the upcoming election. Funny how the great one even said he'd destroy this industry before last election yet none of these swooners listened.

"“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”

As for the unions so called leader............

"Roberts blasted Jackson, the EPA administrator, over the proposed regulations, which would limit greenhouse gas emissions from new power plants. Opponents of the regulations, including Roberts, say the new rules would be the death knell of the coal industry.New coal-fired power plants would have to install technology to capture carbon dioxide emissions in order to comply with the rules. The technology, known as carbon capture and storage (CCS), “is not commercially available,” Roberts said.
This rule is an all-out, in my opinion, decision by the EPA that we’re never going to have another coal-fired facility in the United States that’s constructed,” Roberts said."

Too bad he didn't listen to the green communist last time around.

Legs were tingling too much I'd guess. Hope and change is quickly turning into hoping you have some change left in your pocket at the end of the month. This guy gets four more years the lights will be going out.

This article is a good find and the comments after it are real gems. I read to the point where it degenerated into digs at AARP and stopped.

Few union leaders are willing to take the course this man has but then he said that his union won't oppose Obama although they will not endorse him, either. I would say that a bit of opposition would do as much harm as an endorsement, but then I don't belong to a union.

Likely he was drunk on "Hope & Change" flavored kool-aid just like the other useful idiots.

It's encouraging to see some people are actually noticing how Obama has played them.

Private sector unions aren't where the action is for Obama. So they might as well be Israel to him.

No, that doesn't change. Obama's ideology lines up with communism. He wants to rule it all through legislation.
