Republicans will never give Obama any credit, he killed Qadaffi and Bin Laden and Republicans still went thru amazing contortions to paint that as a bad thing. Blaming Obama for our situation is like blaming the 9/11 rescue workers for the planes crashing into the Twin Towers. Republicans honestly somehow think Bush having complete run of the Congress and Supreme Court and deregulating everything had nothing to do with the unstable housing bubble, corporate malfeasance and investment banks going broke I imagine Republicans in 1912 yelling at the Coast Guard "you idiots, why did you sink the Titanic!"

Please. I'll give Obama credit when he has actually done something to earn it. After Bin Laden was killed, I gave him credit for giving the green light to go ahead with the mission. Other than that, he has done very little to earn any accolades and has (IMO) harmed this country irreparably with his huge deficit spending and the boondoggle AKA., Obamacare. He has been the most divisive president in my lifetime and has done nothing to bring this country together. He wages class warfare at every turn. He race baits.

Any tiny bit of "good news" on the economy is in spite of Obama, not because of Obama. Kind of like how domestic drilling and oil production in our country is up in spite of Obama (because it's on private lands). Obama likes to take credit for that, but the drilling on federal lands is way down.

They are not only cheering for it, they are working towards it as their primary political goal, while projecting their intentions onto the GOP.

Killed Bin Laden, yes, Qadaffi - no, and his replacement will probably turn out to be worse, just like in Egypt. I see a pattern developing.

This is a fairly lucid statement that I see some people have a problem with as they cannot follow the logical progression. This goes back to the saying "Democrats count success as the number of people on government assistance whereas Republicans count success as the number of people they have helped move off of government assistance." But we know that the left thinks big government, more stifling regulation, fewer freedoms and more control is the best thing possible but common sense dictates otherwise.

Good news on the economy is always met by negatism by Republicans.
There has been no good news on the economy since Obama tied the destruction of the energy sector to his economic plans. That in itself is utterly ridiculous. Sadly the green weenies think it's such a great thing they don't really care.

"he killed Qadaffi and Bin Laden"

LOL. You folks are so lost it's beyond belief anymore. Your nobel peace prize winner and now your touting how HE went out and killed people. The swooning is getting out of control lately.

On your planet, that might be true if you're not lying. On mine, there has been good news, although we could use more of it. Now, this thread accuses democrats not wanting good news. Do you qualify?
