The “networking” reception featured a $19-per-person artisanal cheese display and $7,000 in sushi. At the conference’s closing-night dinner, employees received “yearbooks” with their pictures, at a cost of $8,130.
Who in their right mind does this - knowing how much debt the country is in? It just doesn't make sense.

Isn't there a movie out there called "The Hunger Games" where the big fat cat Government People enjoy all the food and finery, while laughing at the citizen kids they send out to kill each other competing for basic food and providing entertainment for the Government Elite? This photo captures it.
