If Obama had a son he would look like a Boston Marathon winner.

Great and amazing to see Wesley Korir win, who IIRC has devoted his life to taking in orphans & homeless kids. I seem to recall reading about him last year but I will have to track it down.

The overwhelming majority of the Kenyan runners are of the Kalinjin tribe. About 4 million strong they thoroughly dominate distance running (along with the Ethiopians, who are good but not nearly as deep).
KALENJINS: THE KINGS OF LONG DISTANCE RUNNING

Obama hails from the Luo tribe, not Kalinjin. I think it's like comparing Winnetka to Englewood. Same region but still apples an oranges. One of my gripes about Pres. Obama is that we got a prez of Kenyan ancestry and he can't even run; instead he smokes and plays basketball.

Wesley Korir ran at Univ of Louisville and graduated with a degree in biology. He met his wife Tarah there, who is from Ontario, Canada. Together they now run a foundation for homeless & orphans in Kenya, of which there are plenty.

“This is a great opportunity,” Korir said. “My wife said all day people have been ‘liking’ our foundation on Facebook. This is what God created me to do, and God is providing the steppingstones for my life of helping people.
“We have 40 students who we are supporting now,” Korir said. “Next year we will have 80. A year ago we only had about seven. We thank God every day.”

If Obama had an uncle with a drinking problem, he would look like this:

Congratulations to ALL of the runners of the Marathon who braved what might be the hottest Marathon Monday on record. It is accomplishment just to qualify for a bib, much less complete or WIN the race - no matter from which country you hail.

Why turn it political?

The right wing goons don't care, they would rather let their ignorance and racism be proudly on display.
