That's loyalty?
Yes most hispanic Americans know English, & like you said there is no assimilation if our laws are not respected.

Many illegals do not & bypass the immigration process.

And I explained what it entailed because you comprehended it incorrectly.
I comprehended as it was first stated.
You back track to fix your mishap.

Here's another sentence using the word...

You should read and try to comprehend what is posted.

When the above sentence in English is properly comprehended, you will realize that it isn't an opinion but an expectation.

NEVER said it wasn't.
All I said it was an opinion.
You formed an OPINION.

Allow me to recommend a reference, to get a better understanding of words in English language:
Should: A word used in auxiliary function to...
1- express condition
2- express obligation
3- express futurity
4- express the probable or expectation
5- express a request in a polite manner or to soften a direct statement

The application in both sentences of mine was geared towards #4. Where do you get this idea of "opinion" from?

OP never answered my upthread question, why does someone who is not too fond of immigrants live in NYC? a city known as a port of entry for a LONG time, with a statue in the harbor welcoming the huddled masses. Why not move to an interior, whiter area of USA. problem solved

Most "immigrants" both legal and illegal are coming through our southern border now, not NYC. Whiter area? Why not a blacker area? What does white have to do with it?

Hispanics do not assimilate. They do everything for their own kind. They speak spanish everywhere, wave foreign flags all over.

Its mainly immigration from one side of the border. It should be look at as an invasion.

The problem is that many of the poorer ones cannot read or write Spanish. They can speak it and it ends there (average 5th grade education). It is very difficult for them to learn English. They heavily depend on their kids to translate for them.
