Because there is so much quackery information available for consumption so people who think they are smarter than they are (or the medical community) end up making poor decisions with their unfortunate children bearing the risk. Kinda like you.
I don't wear a seat belt and have never been injured in a car accident... so I really think my decisions have proven out just fine. Nobody should wear seat belts.
Not only their unfortunate children: other people's children will and are suffering because these idiots aren't vaccinating their children. I don't even know why its legal to withhold vaccines. It's a PUBLIC HEALTH risk, not a personal decision.
Here's another good reason to vaccinate your kids. My sister didn't with her kids and when my niece got accepted into a prestigious college, they required all the usual vaccinations before she could attend. She was living with me at the time and it was quite an ordeal for her to have so many in such a short time.
No school in the U.S. requires any vaccination, all states have some sort of opt-out clause

Not only that, but you're going around to other people's cars and cutting their seatbelts out.
I'm not sure that's true about college, which is not mandatory.
Not mandatory in college either. At least in Florida anyway, AFAIK
Edit: From what I lookedvup, Texas and even California and New York have vaccine exemptions for higher education. I was wrong, there are only 2 states that don't allow vaccine exemption, unless they have a physician's note stating that vaccine injuries is very likely: Mississippi and West Virginia. All other states have a medical exemption, and have religious and/or philosophical exemption.
How can people possibly say they have researched vaccines and determined that the risk outweighs the benefit? What resources have they used? Where is this credible, peer-reviewed data? All I ever see is Wale and bloggers who willfully misrepresent VAERS.
I like it the way we do it here in Ontario. If your child does not have proof of vacines for all the common childhood diseases then they do not get to go to school. This policy makes sure that over 90% of all kids are vaccinated. Maybe the fact that there is no charge also plays a part.

It's the same across all 50 states in the U.S., unless you obtain a vaccine waiver beforehand

The waivers are different if I am not mistaken. For the purposes of school, in the US you can opt out of vaccines for ideological reasons. Elsewhere only on the grounds of medical or very specific religious reasons, and you need to submit proof.

You need no proof. You can state that it sincerely violates your religious beliefs, whatever they may be, and is available in 48 states. Philosophical exemptions are available in some.
