really? so next time liberals go out and protest for pro-choice, then it is ok to go out and put giant crosses on the protesters signs, as it would be a sign of free speech.
I find something wrong when those that claim to love Jesus and respect the cross as a religious icon twisting the meaning of that icon into a mindless little trinket for a political statement. Have a little respect for the cross, it actually means something to some people.
It's a "political statement" to stand up for the unborn? To advocate that they not be murdered? I thought that would be basic human rights that Jesus would speak up for. After all, the Word (the Bible) talks about human life prior to birth. Since the Word became flesh (Jesus), then Jesus sees value in human life prior to birth.
Thus, the symbol of the Cross, a symbol of Christ and His sacrifice, isn't necessarily far removed from a pro-life position.
Do you support the murder of unborn children? If not, why get hostile?
I like Jesus. I just can't stand most of his self-righteous, ignorant followers.
Does putting up lots of Crosses on the campus of a Public University funded by the State violate the 1st Amendment?
No. They got permission. If the other side wanted to do something, let them exercise their "free speech" by getting a permit and putting up 4,000 condoms.
The prove their selves to be less than animal behavior. Our college's are becoming and embarrassment, but we keep passing out those student loans to these elite brats.

Self Righteous? Really? To advocate that children not be murdered, or to bring attention to unborn child murder?
Ignorance? Where is the ignorance? Where is the not-knowing? That's what ignorance means. The left is so used to using the ad hominem attack of calling their opposition "ignorant", that they use it when it makes absolutely no sense.

If it were a private university, you might have a case, given private property rights. However, since it is a public university, private property rights aren't in play, especially considering that they had the approval of the university.
There is a freedom of RELIGION. There is not a freedom from religion.

The school doesn't have the authority to authorize that.

Blah blah blah Jesus blah blah blah Jesus... yes it was both a political and religious statement, both of which are bound to incite controversy. Would you be defending a pro-choice display where they displayed anti-Christian symbolism? How do you feel about the famous "**** Christ" art installation, and what would you say if it were displayed at a public campus?

Please grab yourself a legal dictionary and learn the meaning of murder. And yes, almost every Conservative/Fundamentalist Christian I've ever met is self-righteous and ignorant. Goes with the territory.

You don't even know the meaning of the word "murder", yet you keep throwing it around.

It's a public university, which means it's funded by taxpayers, and therefore falls under the Constitutional parameters of the 1st Amendment.

There is both actually. You can't have freedom of religion, unless you can be free from it's unlawful interference too.
then the people doing the condoms were doing it illegally and should have been arrested.
I'm referring to the Crosses. The condoms could fall under vandalism, but the Cross issue is a 1st Amendment violation.
