Sounds like that neighborhood had a lot of problems with burglaries, with one of the cases having the burglars enter an occupied home. The more I hear, the more I'm convinced that Zimmerman was trying to do the right thing to protect himself and his neighbors. I think his intentions were good, he just put himself in a situation that went horribly wrong.

Definitely would not want him in my neighborhood. I don't need to have some racist idiot chase me around with a gun because I'm outside.
This had absolutely nothing to do with race. The alleged "damn c--ns" comment was never spoken and the tape was edited by MSNBC to make it appear to be a racial based incident which it was not.
If your going to make absurd comments at least get the facts right.
Didn't read the article did you? If you did, and still believe what you posted, then I feel sorry for you.
I read the article. Zimmerman saw some other black kid peering into a neighbor's window, who escaped, and then called the cops on, and chased after, Martin because he was upset about this, despite the fact that he did not describe any suspicious behavior on Martin's part. Sounds like he really got himself worked up, because he saw a black guy "walking around, looking about".

Whoa... I didn't know Zimmerman was racist. But then I don't watch NBC news production of fraudulently edited tapes. Guess I'll just stay.... mmmm, you know.... ignorant of the facts.
I'll take him as a neighbor, and i'll buy him a bigger pistol
