In case you forgot, Bill Ayers's group did bomb the Pentagon. Did he claim he did so under the 2nd Amendment? If so, please provide your link.

As to the OP's question. I don't know whether or not my elected representatives use body armour. It is no more my business if they do than it is their business if I do. Personally, I've not read anyone who repeats the original intent of the 2nd Amendment actually making threats to harm elected representatives. If the OP has then I suggest he contact the appropriate authorities immediately.

I'm not the only one that feels full Kevlar is appropriate attire.

According to the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan:
  • The southern ‘Red States’ are the same as the Confederate States in the Civil War;
  • If you did not vote for Obama, “you didn‘t want a black man’ as president;
  • “Climate for his assassination” is the same in the South now as it was when Lincoln was president;
  • “Hardcore racists, the Tea Party zealots and the Republicans” are planning Obama’s assassination;
  • Republicans “want a Muslim to kill President Obama” … and they “already have somebody in mind that they working on.”

farrakhan unleashed: obama will be assassinated

No Kevlar needed, there are enough Interns and Lobbyists to block all bullets.
