Right on cue here come the right wingers blaming Obama with the exact same programmed right wing talking points.

How about some facts such as

Clinton took years of disastrous GOP policies, to turn them around to create the biggest surplus in US history. We were well on our way to being debt free, but W and the GOP threw that in the trash and went back to the epically failed "trickle down" economics that turned the biggest surplus into the biggest deficit. It takes some real idiots to pull that one off, and those idiots were W and the GOP.

Let's also not forget if it wasn't for W and the GOP completely destroying the nation and sending it near the brink of total collapse, Obama never would have needed to propose the stimulus bill in the first place.

Essentially it's like W and the republicans went on a careless joyride in the new car, crashed into a tree, tossed Obama the keys, ran off, and then are blaming Obama for having to pay to have it fixed.

Lol! What? Clinton didn't make us debt free, he actually ADDED to the debt. It is a typical left winger who doesn't have any idea what he's talking about.

So, what you are saying is, that obama is finally taking responsibility for his actions? Also, it does not take a math major to figure this out:

July 2011 until May 2012 (9 months)...Obama added 1.44 trillion dollars....

Bush, from 2001 until 2008 added 5.7 trillion. In 9 months obama 1/5 of what Bush did in 8 years?

So, in your eyes, 9 months (1.44T) vs 96 months (5.7T), is that really how you want to keep going? Really?

You have a point there!
I will also add that the national debt increased by $1 trillion under Clinton.

Your last point is true. Make no mistake the republican party did not want the presidency after Bush. Hence, McCain/Palin. There is no doubt there is a method to the republican party's madness. What gets to me is Romney's the man? Not this time around again for the GOP. A very poorly run party for sure and certainly not the one I voted for, for many years.

When Bush Jr. started his presidency, the deficit was at 5 trillion, thanks to Reagan. After Bush Jr. left office, out deficit was at 12 trillion. If you think I'm baloney, please read this:

Obama has increased the debt more than all other Presidents combined ... and in only 3 years ... These are the facts!
