Don't waste your breath. To NY Jew, anybody who doesn't hold his EXACT same beliefs is anti-semitic. It's very well possible that in his mind he's the only non-antisemite in the entire world.
Almost, but not quite... for those of us who are actually Jewish (but not Orthodox), we're just "self-hating Jews." LOL.
Gov. Chafee of Rhode Island just signed an Executive Order stating that all same sex marriages performed elsewhere (such as in neighboring New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, etc.) must be recognized as legal and valid in Rhode Island.
Good news! As with the medical marijuana issue, I feel this is a first step towards national recognition/legalization.
Except, we've already redefined marriage at least a dozen times in this country alone.
Your pastor obviously doesn't know his history, or like most posters, presents a double standard on the meaning of "redefine".
Seeing as your typical American Christian doesn't follow Christ, most churches aren't teaching sound doctrine (I would include yours).
Yeah, pretty much - to all of the above! Funny how they overlook so many other (supposed) sins, but think it's "not following doctrine" to accept a gay person as equal. Hypocrite much?
they're there all you have do is read them. I don't want to rehash the same arguments for another 30 pages just to have you forget them all over again after your proven wrong again.
one reason though is it will lead to many more STDs.
for example number of Hepatitis c has gone up in MA since pervert "marriges" passed.
Perhaps there are more drug users in MA and hetrosexual men using prostitues.

If you know the people won't support it you rule by executive order. Good luck next election time.
I love languages so it wouldn't be an issue for me either. Not the point.
You're contradicting yourself. We're talking about a direct democracy, not a Constitutional Republic. A direct democracy can overrule the 1st Amendment by majority vote.
Which means homosexuality is no longer an abomination.
You can't have it both ways. It was the very same chapter. If the former is null and void, so is the latter. Otherwise you're cherry picking.
No it doesn't. Jesus made it clear that sin was sin - he said that his death paid the price for that sin and his resurrection completed victory over it. The Apostle Paul has a lot to say to people like you who think the NT licenses sin - read his letter to the Romans.
