The people have spoken and they do NOT want marriage changed!

So much for the fairy tale fantasy that supposedly “everybody supports gay marriage” and “it’s only a matter of time”. The votes would be going their way all the time if there was an ounce of truth to this nonsensical delusion.

I always thought it was a bit odd... considering NC is predominantly a leftist state...

Just another issue that the left thinks America agree's with them on but in reality it is nothing of the sort. The silent majority will let all these communists know what they think of em come November that I guarantee you.

You may have "won" tonight (although it seems odd to be gloating about winning an election that ensures that a minority will be deprived of a fundamental civil right), but 50 years from now, people will look back on you and people like you the way we look back on segregationists today.

Haha little do you know.

The aging hippies are dying out and the socially conservative Mexicans are going to outnumber liberal White's pretty soon.

If you people haven't noticed, the same liberals who orgasmically proclaim that Whites will be a minority in this country in the coming years do not realize that liberal White people are the only reason "diversity", "inclusion", and "tolerance" exist in this country.

50 years from now, this country is more likely to be re-segregated than to be accepting of gay marriage.

Civil rights apply to all citizens.

Good point! It also worth mentioning that most blacks do not support gay marriage. These issues should be clearly communicated by Romney so that those minority citizens will vote with their brains.

More left wing spin. This was not a ban of gay marriage - homosexual relationships were not even mentioned in the amendment. What the amendment does is recognize marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Thank you North Carolina for standing up for the sanctity of marriage.

Liberals don't realize that they live in a conservative country.

As mainstream media ratings continue to decline, the libs and commies will no longer be able to indoctrinate the masses.

This is a conservative country, always has been, always will be. And as much as I disagree with illegal immigration, I am looking forward to witness the horror on aging liberal faces when their "darlings" in the minority community condemn gay marriage, celebrate Christmas, etc. after they gain real political power.
