He was injured March 13 when, police say, Tyrone Woodfork, 20, entered the house and attacked, allegedly beating and sexually assaulted Strait’s 85-year-old wife, Nancy Strait, who died two days later. The couple had been married for 65 years.
Bob Strait was a World War II paratrooper who took part in the D-Day invasion as part of the 101st Airborne Division, where he was awarded a Bronze Star.
I can only hope OK has the death penalty on the table.
I would they would in this case. to murder a 90 year old couple, and then to rape the wife, and steal their car.... that is the work of an animal, not a human being, not a member of society.

This is such a very sad story that should be out there. Heard not one thing about this story. This poor older couple this breaks my heart, truly it does, make me sick inside.
Every week here in America there is a new story about some family who has lost someone due to murder, or the whole family. What is going on. People are evil, and in this case, i would love to see the guily party, strung by his ..................you know!
There is no compassion left anymore, this was pure utter evil and hatred.

I agree with you so much, we need the lifted weight off of us. The thing that is so sad. Is every week, there is some new case, of something like this happening, in another State another City.
As also the very sad case taking place right now, of the scumbag of the worse kind, who kidnapped a whole family, and they already found the Mom and 14 yr old daughter in a grave. Looking for the two younger sisters, and i only hope and i pray that they find these innocent young girls.
If we tolerate these crimes, they will only get worse and no better.
