I certainly agreed with you there. Some of the videos of that group and their celebrations in California cities make me sick just thinking about what they are willing to do in public and I have as yet to see a black in those things other than in a few parades. Are they really that racist?
Well the Gay Black pride celebrations are not too much different but not as popular. Youtube black pride atlanta and see the stuff you come up with... LOL!!!
Yes racism, sexism and ageism (if there is such a word) is prevalent in the gay community. As I've stated before I have better luck hanging with straight whites than I do with gay whites. It just happens that way.
It's official: the gays need immediate and intensive therapy. A gay who is okay with a constitutional ban that ensures that he will never be able to marry. That is rich. I'm against gay marriage and this further proves that the gays don't even agree with each other on what they want.
So because a white gay isn't interested in dating blacks, they're automatically racist? Ridiculous. People have preferences. Most people wouldn't date an extremely obese person, does it mean that they're bigots who hate fat people? Umm, no. It means that they don't find someone with a belly and extreme backfat attractive. Additionally, do ALL white gays exclude blacks from their dating preferences? No. I have an interracial gay couple who lives down the cul-de-sac from me who make attempts to greet me every so often.
What is clearly happening within the gay community is members trying to create a social hierarchy system. Since gays are looked down on in this society, gays just carry this caste system into their own community, feeling as if they're better than other gays for some superficial reason. Yet the gays want to turn around and call any heterosexual person who is against gay marriage a bigot and close-minded. It is clear that the gay community is literally teeming with people in need of extremely intensive individual and group therapy. There are obviously many gays who are exploding with self-hatred, including you apparently. Sad.
Dark Serge - I've also noticed how the majority of white gay guys (at least in my city) won't even befriend a black guy, as if we're a different species or something. Many of them are what I call "romantic racists", who shut out blacks (and sometimes even Asians too) from their romantic lives, under the guise of "just their preference", as if that's a valid excuse to be a racist. (For the record, I "prefer" catfish over fried chicken, but that don't mean I never eat chicken! In fact, I love both!)
Then, on the flip side, are the racist black gay guys. Not just the ones who won't date whites, but the ones who look down on other black guys who they don't think act "black enough". If I had an actual Oreo cookie for every time I've been called an Oreo, I'd be able to send them cookies to a third-world country and not only solve the hunger problem, but probably cause an explosion in the diabetes rate, too!
lol sound like you're not getting enough of the good stuff from the guys. That's like if I kept getting rejected by black women then decided black people should lose their civil rights because they're so mean to me. Visit a bathhouse or something and get over it, there's always snobby bad people.

The "intesive therape" seems like something that you will need for yourself. Of course not all gays are going to be on one accord due to us having different paths in life. There is nothing wrong with that.
I know of plenty of Hetero-sexuals who are against gay marriage for religous reasons, respect for "traditional" family structure (that is appearantly only 30% of all kids now are from). IMO, I don't think that those people are bigots and should be labled. As a man who happens to be gay came from a family where both biological parents came together, got married and raised their family within their bond. There is nothing that can take the place and prepare the kids for a good life than that type of foundation. Im sorry to all the gays and single parent straights that don't share my beliefs but thats what I've seen and experience. Anyone who has worked with Children for more than 30 years would confirm what Im writing.
No one is upset at some White gays not wanting to date Black or Asian gays. Its how they treat others. I personal don't date White men because Im not attracted to them. But I don't refuse friendships and mistreat them because of my personal attraction. Its rediculus that you cant or don't want to understand that. There are more inter racial couples in the gay community than within the straight according to some statistics. That doesn't mean that there isn't a huge problem from within with racial prejudice that will eventually backfire.
I do agree with the "social hyrachy system" that you mention. Maybe thats human nature because its always been that way since we been here. The same hate that is directed against you (for different reasons) your trying to do the same against someone in your own community? That is crazy to me. If you want me to be a part of your community when it comes to fighting for civil rights issues, don't attempt to take away mine.
My sexual orientation is not something that I woke up one day and chose. No demon jumped in my spirit one night and made me want to sleep with men. (i don't don't understand the demon theology) Im just an ordinary man who is attracted to other men. I don't need you to like it. I personally don't believe that I need a marriage certificate to show commitment to my partner. Appearantly straights don't feel the need for that either. When we get our rights to get married, that will not solve the problems that we have within our personal lives and will not change how we interact within.
The gay community in general has the same racism and able-ism (discrimination against the disabled) and ageism as the rest of society. I don't think that's a good reason to oppose gay marriage, however.
