It's what some people believe. They have different reasons. Also, it doesn't take long for the hypocrisy to show when someone mentions same sex marriage and Christians.

That's because we are under a new convenant, which Jesus established. Some people do still follow that if they are under the old convenant. You have to read more of the Bible than just that verse to understand that.

If you know so much and aren't Christian, then why do you care about what people are saying in this thread?

They usually reserve murder for abortion doctors.

Who cares what some people believe? Why should a supposed belief be legislated into law? A discriminatory belief at that. Muslims believe that men should be able to marry little girls. Should that be law as well? The United States is not a theocracy for this reason. People hold all kinds of crazy ass beliefs based on religious doctrine and dogma. They're free to hold those personal beliefs but those beliefs should not infringe on civil rights.

So, should shrimp be illegal? Of course NOT..Keep your strange superstitions, dogmas and "convenants" to yourself and everything would be just fine.

I don't. I think all marriage should be kept out of the government.

Some people don't support same sex marriage. I merely said it was for different reasons. I think people should vote based on the Constitution, and not their personal beliefs. Of course we are all human, so not many people actually do that.
