Some forget Israel has NEVER attacked any of its neighbors but has been attacked many times and kicked butt every time, against much more powerful countries.
Well thats not totally correct, it had done a pre-emptive strikes to stop a impending attacks.If Israel had waited for Egypt to cross the border first, then Gaza would not be considered as occupied. On the other hand Jordan crossed first, But since Israel made first strike this is why we continue to argue about it.
All this Palestine talk is crap, there wasn't any talk about a "Palestine" when that area was part of the other countries.
For the same reason there is no Kurdistan. Why was Turkey allowed to incorporate part of it even though they lost the Ottoman empire after WW1? And no one even talks about it when Turkey shells towns and kills kurds. Arab issues are considered as internal as stated by the UN. Different rules for different folks.
Actually the bible doesn't say anything about Iran taking over Israel.
BTW, when we start talking about a book of fables and short stories to help people feel better about what they already should do, as history and proof of the future, any realistic conversation with you is over.
I've read the bible, I also know its history. If you want to listen to a man sitting in a cave eating mushrooms, thats your business. While I might enjoy some shoorms with him, it doesn't mean anything he said is the gospel.
The bible is a book written by men, not a man, not a God. If anything is proven in that statement, it means that its more then fallible.
The bible does contain contradictions and ridiculous commandments such as stoning your daughter if she talks back or wearing clothing of blended thread.
The god of the bible is jealous and petty and a racist.
There are many religions in the world and it is because of some of them that we have such problems.
I could never use that book as a guide for my actions today. I think that's really laughable.
From what little I know it is the US and Brits who actually gave Israel to the Jews when it was not their land to give. Is this true?
I have no bone to pick with either side, all I know is that our people are dying and our resources are being diminished as a reaction to our involvement in that part of the world and I really want it to stop. The entire thing is sickening. It's gone on for long enough.
Why would any god have his base on this planet in such a place filled with hatred and bloodshed and violence? What kind of a god would do that? No one I'd like to be affiliated with.
I like the Jewish people. They have contributed so much of value to this country. I just think that support of Israel is a bad strategic move for the US.

OH CRAP ... I agree on basic foundation with SityData regarding Isreal, yes the US does give aid to Israel but a relatively small amount, and we are also trade partners, including military hardware.

At the beginning of the first Gulf War, Iraq was dropping scuds into Israel and the US had to jump in and make a sweet deal or things were going to fall apart real fast if Israel started turning Iraq into glass, which it was all set to do.

The false propaganda is that in 2014 there are millions of Palestinian Arab refugees since 1948/9 and that these people and the descendants still haven't made new lives and been absorbed into other societies/countries like all other war refugees after over 60 years!

This is true and in reality Jordan is the state of Eastern Palestine with a Palestinian majority for its population!
