They have sex also but we don't make it easy on them. We all pay down the road for the poor health of those that are junk food junkies.Kids don't always make the right choices so we have to be the adults and teach them by example..IMO NO SODA at all.

You can dream up as many problems about youth as you want. We have to get a handle on this fat thing in the USA. The subject is soda not condoms. So you are saying"everyone else is jumping off buildings so why not me too!
You just want to give up.

No, not giving up, just not wanting you people to tell me (as a teenager) what I can and can't drink. Last time I checked it was a semi free country. I should be able to drink whatever the hell I want, and so should other teens.

I'm not dreaming up problems, it is a problem. Why is it okay for the schools to decide what bad habits to promote and what bad habits to, attempt to, eliminate? WHERE ARE THE PARENTS????!!!!!

Well, since the parents arent at school, isnt it a logical progression of thought to have the grown-ups that are there at school deciding whats what?
Otherwise, the lunatics would be running the asylum, so to speak.

So it's ok to hand out condoms to them but not let them drink soda ????

We are a nation of IDIOTS ! And then we wonder why our kids are screwed up.

So again, I am curious what the actual law pertaining to this cut-off during lunch period is.
It must be a law somewhere unless federal regualators are just running around making stuff up.

It very well looks like it might be a school district ruling or contract agreement, which would be why the "law" is so hard to find.
How could a vending contract with a school assign 15K fines? Why would the school district fine itself and hand that money to the feds? You two are really trying to make it as if these ridiculous rules are hoisted upon these schools by themselves?

Wow! $15,000 for serving soda. What is the fine for serving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? $25,000?
