Stunning. She has the reasoning of a young, bratty child. It is unbelievable that she teaches Social Studies. You know, there are a lot of classrooms with teaching positions that need to be filled, so they can't all be winners. Once you have evidence that the teacher is a literal fool, however, they need to go. I can't imagine any positive outcome for a student sitting through her class.

Last Monday, a high school student in North Carolina engaged his social studies teacher in a heated debate about politics and the two leading presidential candidates. During the exchange, the teacher (an obvious Obama supporter) got very angry with the student and accused him of disrespecting the president. She even went so far as to tell the boy that he could be jailed for speaking ill of Obama.

She is NOT supposed to give her opinions in class, she is supposed to let the students develop their own. She is a disgrace to the profession and needs to be fired.
