One language is not bilingual, nor was the offer of free pizza.
Bilingual is two languages.
Yes - and if you had your way - bilingual(English and Spanish) individuals like myself wouldn't be able to take advantage of this business promotion and acquire a free pizza. Is that right?
Pretty much. This is a smart business move, catering to a growing demographic to draw in more business. If the quality of the pizza is memorable, then they've got new customers.
I'll have to remember this move when I open my business.
A growing demographic? Just how is this demographic growing if not mostly due to illegal immigration? Most Hispanic-Americans know how to speak English so why the need to order pizza in Spanish for them?

The only thing the restaurant wants to promote is Spanish.

If it is due to illegal immigration, it sucks, but as it stands, their kids are still citizens and we can't legally kick them out until we get rid of the "anchor baby" laws nationwide.
As it stands, hispanic americans ARE a growing demographic, therefore for a buisiness to cater to them is rather smart.

Most are Catholics, and don't believe in birth control? You share that idea, don't you? '
PS. I would wager that Dallas area not only has had near 50% hispanic population, but that a significant part of non-Hispanic population is capable of taking advantage of such opportunities (me included).

But the anchors are here directly due to illegal immigration by their parents and that is unnatural growth. Besides as I said most Hispanic-Americans know to speak English so why would they need to order pizza in Spanish?
I think it unethical for businesses to cater to lawbreakers for a buck. Sorry, you don't agree.
So, if I am an american and order in english I will have to pay for my pizza....I believe all native english speaking people should avoid this chain like a terriible virus...take out a big ad in the local paper to not order in english or patronize this slap in the face!!!
And it would kill you to learn Spanish? How hard is it to learn? Can't handle the challenge? Learning a foreign language stimulates and enriches the mind. It also helps stave off Alzheimer's, doctors say, for the geezerly set among us. What foreign language did you learn in highschool? What about college? You did go to college, didn't you?
