It wasn't sarcasm. The fact you think I would let any criminal get away with crime because of their race couldn't be further from reality. I say him and especially the BLACK man who shot the WHITE dad on the b ball court in front of his daughter should get the max.

In fact, I feel differently about the "basketball court" case. The white guy that was shot attacked the black guy and tried to take the gun from him. They fought. The attacker was killed. From what I read the black guy had an attitude over some kid riding a skateboard on the b-ball court. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to defend himself from an attack. The black guy is elderly, the attacker a much younger military man. I understand the black man was trying to leave and go back to his house when attacked. Victim acted stupidly IMO...and paid a price.
Honestly, same in the case in the OP....we don't know all the facts. My issue is simply with the response to both cases.

It is wrong and irrational on a certain level. But it's not a rational act to kill an unarmed 17 year old walking home from the store. Again, everyone these days is talking about packing guns to protect yourself and your family. So what's the point in having a gun while your son's killer walks around free? Especially if you KNOW he did it and he admitted to it. That's ridiculous.

I don't know. Never been to Africa. I'll just say that it's the Southern Arizona model of a justice system since this is where i've been all my life.
