It belies the modern democratic party, which is more akin to a monarchy, in which all personal transgressions and policies, are excused , in recognition of fidelity to the monarchy. ANY RATIONAL HUMAN BEING would look at these despicable beings, in the absence of political fidelity, as scum of the earth pigs. However, given political allegiance, marked personality defects are excused for the "benefit" of the party.

John Edwards was never considered a "lion" of the Democratic Party. When Kerry chose him for a running mate, he was pretty much an unknown.
There is no evidence that Robert Kennedy or Barack Obama ever cheated on their wives.
