How's that working for the US?

Hateros gonna hate.

Hiding behind the hate card?

If you don't have an intelligent comment, move on.

CD has lots of other threads.

The issue is teaching very young children that homosexuality is normal.

My contention all along has been that when the concept of normal is eliminated in the interest of inclusion, no standard exists by which anything else may be excluded.

What is your agenda, that you would post statistics from 2001/2002, three to four years before same sex marriage became legal in Canada?

The 2012 statistics ....30% of students in the US are bullied regularly, VS 12% of students in Canada....A big improvement I would say.

Teaching all aspects of human sexuality is nothing but a positive thing, as it reduces the hatred taught by bigoted religious people...My kids did not grow up hating others just because they are different and I am proud of them, and no, learning that there are homosexual people in this world did not turn any of them gay.

They have no problem with homosexuals, unlike you bigots.

Why is it reasonable to teach young children that it is normal to be homosexual, at such a young age that most of them don't even understand normal sexuality.

Discuss.
Discuss what?

If they are of an age where a discussion of human sexuality is not going to be comprehensible to them; then that answers the question right there.

It's a strawman, what's to be discussed? Too young to learn about male-female sexuality is too young to learn about same-sex sexuality.

What's reasonable is to teach children that, in the same way it's okay for a boy to have a girlfriend, it's okay for a boy to have a boyfriend. Sexuality isn't even quite relevant yet, until you bring it up.

Oh, and by the way...

At what age should you teach your children to hate gay people?
Discuss.

If homosexuality is a "choice", at what age, do you recall, did you "choose" to love the same or other sex? What's a good age to stop being bisexual?
Discuss.

Is it some sort of hobby or yours to start all these threads about homosexuality?

That still leaves the non-religious hateful bigots who are latent gay, or think gays are yukky, or are hateful bigots for other non-religious reasons. Unless you tossed in the word 'religious' as a reflex because you automatically attach hateful and bigot to religion.

Unfortunately, I see more bigotry and hatred from the religious contingent than from any other.
Sad statement to make, but there it is.

I'm talking about the bigots I see here....Invariably when I check out their post history they are indeed religious.
