It's NOT acceptable for Christians to aggressively tell people they're going to hell, even though some do. Many show valid concern for the souls of those that don't believe as they do while others are just flat-out jerks. That doesn't make it OK for them, nor does it make it OK to show intolerance or bigotry towards someone's religious beliefs if you're non-religious.

It's your right to not have religious beliefs, but when that turns into name-calling & insults, negative stereotyping, and condescension it's no longer stating your beliefs; that's exposing anti-religious bigotry.

Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with Matt Drudge being a flaming gay man "after hours".

IMHO, there are too many religious hypocrites, spreading their intolerant hatred for too long. The old, "just because they do it, doesn't mean you should" argument would carry more weight if the hundreds of years that atheists actually took that 'turn the other cheek' approach, had any positive effect on these fanatics.

I think that most people would agree, that religious fanaticism is worse now then it has been for many many years. And because these nut cases are far more vocal than the more reasonable believers, they end up driving the overall approach and policy of their churches.

History has shown, you give these religious nuts an inch, and they will try to take a mile.

It makes perfect sense to draw the line somewhere.

LOL!
Yes White supremacy is driving the world.
That is why the West is being flooded with multiculturalism & mass immigration.

The West is generally bending over backwards for minorities.

Like the U.S affirmitive action & black history month.

Or the Sharia courts in the U.K for Muslims.

Those White supremacists!

I saw that segment of the show, and my impression is the same as his. Here's his take on who the racists are, and he's not far from the mark:

No question about it.

Not all Republicans are racists, but ALL racists are Republican.

Not all Republicans are religious fanatics, but ALL religious fanatics are Republican.

Not all Republicans are teabaggers, but ALL teabaggers are Republican.

I wonder if they remember openly racist Democrats like George Wallace?

The only people that Bill rages against are racist teabaggers, ignorant rednecks, religious fanatics, and hypocritical wingnuts. Those are all choices, that these people made.

And after all, isn't it his right and responsibility as an American to attack racism?

The difference between Bill and Drudge is that Drudge attacks people based on their race, (not a choice) while Bill attacks people based on their ignorance.
Bill has consistantly shown himself to be just about the biggest idiot of all time..... which explains why other idiots are defending him

Why ignorant d bags are given a platform on which to spew their hate is beyond me..... why can't enough people boycott Maher, Letterman, Limbaugh and all the other idiots?

Not exactly. I have seen some socialist & even communist racists.

Maybe not. Since women, black & hispanics tend to be more democrat but also more religious than white males.

Then probably many religious fanatics are in the Democrat party who support Democrats for other issues such as rights or social programs etc.

Well just about all Tea party people are Conservative. A lot of them are more Libertarian or Paleo Conservative leaning.
