Lets start off with the dirty word, David Horowitz. All you really serious left leaners believe he is just as treasonous as all hell because he was once one of you and now speaks out on the other side. I heard him say that Ronald Reagan was not a perfect President, by any mens. He even talked about some of Reagan's mistakes. He said that none of our recent Presidents have been anywhere near perfect but he also said that some of the things in his new book, "The New Leviathan" proved that many of the right leaning money spenders were outspent so horribly by lefties. He has statistics to prove that no right leaning groups can outspend the left groups when it comes right down to it.

I love to hear Horowitz talk about things like I heard today. Guess where I heard him talking. Well, of course, he must have been on with Glenn Beck today. Yep, they had a really good talk about who has the most money to spend on things like environment, Obama and like that. Of course, the Progressives are the winners where money is concerned, and I agree with them that we are only about one Presidential term away from becoming like Europe.

If you like Horowitz, Ronald Radosh is also a pretty decent writer in the ex-old left tradition. I got some good chuckles out of his book Commies when it came out.

Coming from a harcore right-winger that instantly labels any desenter in the GOP as a RINO I would have to say you seem a bit to eager to point out how the other side does what yourself do. There is a term for that.

People are allowed to change their minds on the issues.

Heck, I used to vote Republican.

Then I woke up.

You know damned well that I meant to be speaking facetiously about Horowitz so I could sound like a progressive. When that man speaks I listen, unlike progressives. After all, he speaks from the wisdom of one who has been there and left the Left. He is not a politician so I couldn't call him a RINO, anyway.

Have I never heard you and other progressives call Horowitz a traitor to the party? So many have done so that I bet I have heard you do it.

I'm not so sure who Horowitz is. Seems to be a big deal to you, for some reason.

Here's some good advice: avoid casinos.

If you don't know who Horowitz is you aren't very well versed in progressive thought about some of the people they most fear.

I have never been inside a Casino in my life but sure do plan to go to one before I die and that will probably be pretty soon now.

I fail to see how a 73 year old rightie who converted in the 1980's is that compelling of a subject.

wade52, why do you feel it is appropriate to use gay as an insult to people who disagree with you?
