Thanks, Obamacare: Play the game!

This thing is absolutely hilarious. I'm posting it because I think it so outrageously stretches the truth and it gave me lots of laughs, certainly not because I am trying to spread their message. Make sure you have your computer's volume on as you play the game. It has cool sounds and everything!

This is propaganda at its finest. It mentions none of the negatives of ObamaCare and tells you all about the worst case scenarios without ObamaCare, failing to mention other alternatives that would be far better and failing to mention things like increased costs and why you get laid off (hey, did they ever stop to consider that passing these outrageous healthcare costs on to employers will only result in more layoffs and less hiring?), for example.

Denise de Percin, CCHI

CCHI is "Colorado Consumer Health Initiative," of which she is the Executive Director. Objective opinion? I think not.

It was obviously a propaganda piece even before I looked up the domain. Reminded me a lot of that Julia nonsense that Obama published. This is no different. The "game" is totally rigged, and you have no real choices in the game. Your "happiness meter" drops for things like having to pay a copay to visit your doctor or not choosing Obamacare when they say your kids need to be vaccinated. What if I want to pay a copay, so my policy will be cheaper? What if I don't want to vaccinate my kids?

Complete hogwash.

Yes, this is a "non-partisan" group and is non-profit (and is obviously treated as such for tax purposes).

What's most interesting is that it doesn't go past age 65. I guess they didn't want to mention the part about Medicare cuts.

Reminds me of "the life of Julia." Now I know "Thanks Obamacare" is not from the Obama campaign, but still...
