No they are sold mostly by independent vendors who hawk their wares around campaign events. Even the official ones are sold at local campaign headquarters.
By the way, the 2 for $5.00 was the same price that that they were sold for in 2008.
I'm expect this could be a down year for buttons and bumper stickers. Likely there will be muted enthusiasm from the base of both R's and D's, especially if Romney goes with Portman or Pawlenty as VP.
I think I'll just wear my "Nixon - Now More Than Ever" button (from 1972). Somehow, it seems appropriate for this election.
