I don't see a clearance logo anywhere.

Also, 2 for $5 is a common price for buttons.

No they are sold mostly by independent vendors who hawk their wares around campaign events. Even the official ones are sold at local campaign headquarters.

By the way, the 2 for $5.00 was the same price that that they were sold for in 2008.

I got one for free from a friend of mine even though I told her I don't wear political buttons or endorse candidates publically (I think it is tacky).

She had a ton of them but I doubt she bought them since she works for the campaign.

I'm expect this could be a down year for buttons and bumper stickers. Likely there will be muted enthusiasm from the base of both R's and D's, especially if Romney goes with Portman or Pawlenty as VP.
