On January 20, 2009 Republican Leaders in Congress literally plotted to sabotage and undermine U.S. Economy during President Obama's Inauguration.

In Robert Draper's book, "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives" Draper wrote that during a four hour, "invitation only" meeting with GOP Hate-Propaganda Minister, Frank Luntz, the below listed Senior GOP Law Writers literally plotted to sabotage, undermine and destroy America's Economy.

Republicans do not pay Frank Luntz to offer ideas for good policy to help America, rather, Republicans pay Luntz' to devise lies that will keep Americans dumb and ignorant to facts on policy. For decades Republicans have paid Frank Luntz to tell them (Republicans) what to say in order to brainwash 'the People' with lies and hate to destroy policy.

Luntz does not use words to merely have Americans "change their minds." Rather, Frank Luntz uses words intentionally to dumb-down Americans and fill them with lies and hate so as to brainwash and program Americans to hate a given policy.
Daily Kos: Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan & Kevin McCarthy: Plot To Sabotage US Economy with Frank Luntz

Right wingers will argue this without even reading the article. They've got you suckers right where they want you.

We have POS's running this country...into the ground.

.

Meanwhile, we have Obama and Hillary, students of Alinsky, running the country and running for president. Those are your POS.

Progressive liberals adore them. Talk about suckers.

This is an old topic, but it is a very good look back question on how Obama has handled the economy.

In 2009, brand-new president Barack Obama, supported by a democratic House and Senate, had a mandate to fix the US economy, which was in the “Great Recession”. According to the prevalent liberal theory, the economy would be fixed by stimulating demand.

First: fiscal policy. Record deficit spending drove national debt to $18 trillion. Second: massive expansion of money supply through quantitative easing. The liberal theory behind these two policies was: if we put funds in people’s hands by record government spending and record monetary growth, this would create high demand that will improve the economy.

Results: We have had the slowest recovery ever. Poor growth (which in the Obama presidency never reached 3% except once, the latest quarterly revision), worsening inequality, poor labor force participation……

What were you sayin', OP, about a plot?

Lightbulb Plot To Sabotage US Economy

The GOP plot that truly did sink the economy:

Took awhile, but it gave us the Great Recession of 2008.

The democrats taking over the house and senate are what destroyed the economy. In Bush's first six years, the economy was booming, then along came the demos and ruined everything. They, you, are still trying to blame bush for what the demos caused...
but, nice try...

Which democrat legislation are you referring to? Killing the economy happened under a Republican's watch.

That was a great article. I find it funny that Luntz is now suffering due to the feelings that he was instrumental in creating in the electorate. He's a little weasel, and if you think I'm experiencing a bit of schadenfreude over his new-found agony...well, you would be right.
