Why should a Republican be associated with wanting to being viewed as progressive in the first place?

Don't expect any answers from "teabaggers." You should instead ask the Tea Party their opinion.

about the #1 request to whitehouse.gov as is Obama. Both think it's OK to put sick people including cancer patients in prison, regardless of them being in compliance with their state's MMJ program. Cannabis was not illegal in the Constitution & there's still no amendment banning it. If George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were alive today, instead of being presidents, they'd be doing 10yearrs to life for what they were growing.

The drug war costs $40B+ a year & puts the public in danger. Recent anecdotes say cannabis oil is curing cancer. It was in pharmacies until 1937. 60+ research papers show MJ is anti-cancer. Now we have epidemic, 30% in US die of cancer, 13% worldwide. 25% of Americans in chronic pain (Time). Drug laws made by those whose drugs kill the most.

Mitt Romney wants more wars. So what if we're broke, wars are free aren't they? Just have Federal Reserve print up another trillion or two. Killing millions for billions, for those holders of stock in "defense"
contractors that sometimes supply both sides. Obama is very pro-war, too.

His health plan is just like shop around: allow sales of health insurance across state lines. Might be hard for some. Our worst medical problem besides high costs & many cures being illegal &/or secret, is the quality of health care. A person has a mental problem, so they give them a pill that may not work but may cause numerous side effects, like weight gain, which could lead to other health problems. Diabetes drug may not work, bur could cause arthritis. Celebrex for arthritis can cause 4 different conditions that are sometimes fatal. Ask your doctor if it's right for you? (Dr., should I die to enhance corporate profits?)

Romney skips some issues, may or may not reveal a brief outline of a solution on others. No thanks.
Another problem is if Obama & Romney get big money from special interest groups, then they likely feel obligated to return favors with big chunks of taxpayer dollars. Obama & Romney are already costing the taxpayers plenty with that matching funds law.

Gary Johnson is for the 100% equally and has created a balanced budget plan for the first year. He proved his frugality as 2 term guv of NM. Also, despite being a millionaire, he built his own house. He got rich building a construction company from just himself to over 1,000 employees. He'll take his business motto to DC (the best service for the lowest price). The 3 newest videos on his site & you tube are the best yet, IMO.

garyjohnson2012 dot com also has a chart on his site where you can compare his positions to those of Obama & Romney on many key issues. Please, vote for who you really want.

I would say it is pretty progressive to want to reduce the debt, balance the budget and reduce government spending. All of those things have been going on for years and it certainly would be major "progress" to solve the economic woes of the country.

Why do you think the delegate selection process is being over run by the tea party? Romney's crew is trying everything to silence them, but Tampa is going to be extreme.

The tea party is, Ron Paul.... The Godfather.

Do you know Romney? Republicans don't need anything but a puppet, who obeys the whims of the few.
