Man, I miss Law & Order. And I just can't believe that Romney is going to be the Republican candidate for President. Going to be a lot of Republicans holding their noses when they vote, that is if they can even bring themselves to show up to do so.

HAHAHAHA - you really think any Republicans won't be showing up? LOL...

And if you think healthcare is the top issue for Republicans or independents, that's pretty hilarious. The economy is the top issue and this healthcare thing will likely be off of everyone's mind within a week.

Did he say "I support an individual or employer mandate on the federal level"?

You must not know any evangelical Christians.

National = federal

The question was about national mandates, and he made it clear that he supports them.

I did. Thompson said "You backed away from mandates on the national..." and Romney said some other stuff and then "let me tell you what kind of mandates I like." Then Fred Thompson spoke again. He didn't say that he liked the national individual mandate.

That being said, even if he had, that is not the top issue this election.

Polling shows that Republicans are lining up behind Romney very solidly, no less so than Democrats are lining up behind Obama.

Hear about Romney's commencement speech at Liberty University? Hear about the pastor who called Mormonism a cult who has now endorsed Romney? The evangelicals are lining up.

The evangelicals who hate Mormonism the most are also the same far right nutcases who think Obama is a Muslim. Who do you think they'd rather be president? A Mormon or a "Muslim"? Remember they hate Muslims too...I'd guess they hate Muslims a lot more than they hate Mormons.
