Those codes pertained only to 'race of child' as stated, not the father who's 'race box' had a number 9 pencilled in. Box 9 and 12b on Obama's electronic file abstract long form should be blank.

you tried this argument in the other thread, there is no box on the birth certificate for race of child.

You know, funny thing here IC. In your state, Illiniois, a father brought a birth certificate in to the health dept. in Champaign back in the late 70s. He had written "human" for "race". How's them apples?

I've seen hundreds of Illinois long form BCs. Race was self-reported and anything was accepted.

and there is no "race of child" found on any birth certificate. so what do they use? the race of the father was listed as "9" - other non white. Do you see african on the list?

what part of "self reported" do you not get?
