Many Americans are now TERRORISTS according to a study funded by Homeland Security: A new study funded by the Department of Homeland Security characterizes Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.
Entitled "Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States, 1970-2008"PDF[/url]), the study was produced by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland. The organization was launched with the aid of DHS funding to the tune of $12 million dollars.
According to segments of the link, Americans are terrorists if they:
--believe their “way of life” is under attack
--are “fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation)”;
--consider themselves “anti-global” (presumably those who are wary of the loss of American sovereignty).
--are “suspicious of centralized federal authority”
--are “reverent of individual liberty”
--believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”
These types of studies, linked with the "See Something, Say Something" Act, should make a lot of Americans nervous. Didn't realize that we are surrounded by millions of terrorist every day.
And big surprise--Funded by Homeland Security (my income tax dollars and worthless fiat currency), the new NAZIs, yet another unconstitutional national police?
These Americans are LIBERTARIANS. Like Thomas Jefferson, and the anti-federalist Founding Fathers. The ones who MADE the best country in the world, before liberals ruined it.
Terrorists blow up buildings and people due to sick religious brainwashing. Patriots try to prevent their own governments from turning their homelands into War-Mongering, Tax-Enslaving, All-Powerful Central Government.
Leave them alone. The people who are supposed to be protecting us from terrorism, finding ways to catch it before it happens and stop it, studying it so that they know more about it and can spot it easier, I sure as hell don't want them to be worrying about politics. I want them totally focused on what they're supposed to be doing.
But when that woman declared me a terrorist because I am a vet I had to think that she was trying to play some politics when she said that. Maybe you need to go back and look in the OP links and study what that bunch has been doing just as sol suggested I do. I went back and looked deeper, did you? Why do you think that DHS is such a great group when they call me a terrorist and refuse to try to close down our borders to those who just walk in, without invites?
