Aren't gas prices down from where they were four years ago today?

For the first half of 2008 **** hadn't really hit the roof yet, so these numbers are hardly a fair comparison. We all know who put our economy in this mess and it wasn't Obama.

He's done nothing to fix the problem. Or are you still claiming this economy belongs to President Bush after 4 years of Oblama?

Well, I doubt McCain would have passed ObamaTax or forced an $800B pork bill through Congress during his first 2 years.

Gas prices were more than they are today in 2008 under Bush before the economy tanked.

A post like this definitely requires some sort of citation, as well as the changes from 2000 to 2004, and from 2004 to 2008. How do we know these aren't made up numbers? Bush may not "own" what we're dealing with right now, but we're still dealing with the consequences of a lot of HIS policies.
