You're the one making the claim it is so you need to back that claim up with something more tangible than your opinion. Opinions are like a certain body part. Almost everyone has one and some smell worse than others. Its up to the receivers of the opinions to determine their particular stench.
Typical/unoriginal reply, but the burden of proof is on the claimant, not the denier. If I told you an alien was living in my house, wouldn't you expect me to prove it - or would it be more logical for me to say "prove I don't?" Pretty difficult (sometimes impossible) to prove something doesn't exist, but proving something DOES exist really isn't all that hard.
I'm not the one with the burden of proof. You are. You are the one wanting to base what we know and base laws on biblical dogma. You need to prove that it is the word of god or at least prove that it is the best option that serves all people of this nation.
So what will you do when in spite of your teaching, one of your kids comes to you and says..."Dad I am gay"?....News flash for you, sexual preference cannot be taught, it is not a choice.
I actually hope some of these haters DO end up with gay children, as it might teach them a lesson in unconditional love & tolerance. Just about all of my gay friends grew up in "good Christian households," so try as they may - you just can't pray away the gay!!

That isn't how it is done. If scientists went by your logic of, if it goes against the grain of nature you would probably not have survived birth. The rate of births that ended in both the mother and child surviving increased as we went against the grain of nature and developed advances in medicine.
That is an enhancement.
Mother and child are more likely to survive due to medical technology aiding a natural process.
