You sometimes have to wait because one of the patients before you had something that required more attention than could be give in a 10 minute office visit. Or they had to spend time on the phone to handle another patients care. If you honestly see your Dr chit chatting for an hour at the counter while ignoring you then speak up woman! I doubt that's actually happened to you but if it did, and you let it, then it's your own damn fault.

A recent report has found that a majority of organizations from the medical community is in favour of the decision of the U. S. Supreme Court regarding the Affordable Care Act.
It has been found that the court has declared the ACA, passed by the Congress in 2010, as constitutional and has been getting appreciative comments from some of the major national medical organizations.

Doctors Support Court

Physician groups were largely pleased with the high court's ruling, although some simply said they were glad a ruling had been made.
Ardis Hoven, MD, president-elect of the American Medical Association (AMA), told MedPage Today that the group was very pleased with the court's decision. The AMA was an early supporter of Obama's healthcare reform law, beginning back in 2009, the year that the president addressed the doctors' group at at its annual meeting. The decision was blamed for dwindling membership in the group, although it's now beginning to pick up again.
"Change is hard for physicians, but we support the law," Hoven said.

Most major national medical organizations -- including the American Medical Association, the National Physicians Alliance, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Association of American Medical Colleges -- hail the ruling as a victory. Many of these organizations have been strong supporters of the ACA since Congress passed it in 2010.
"The American Medical Association has long supported health insurance coverage for all, and we are pleased that this decision means millions of Americans can look forward to the coverage they need to get healthy and stay healthy," said Dr. Jeremy Lazarus, president of the American Medical Association.
