So, when the Republicans threatened the stability of the world economy by refusing to approve raising the debt ceiling (on a budget Congress had already approved), that was somehow more grown up?

Or, in '96 when the Republican party actually shut down the federal government because they wanted to play chicken, that was more grown up?

Both parties are big government, high taxes (republicans slightly less so but still very high), less freedom for the average american. (obama passed NDAA, bush pasted the patriot act)

Who in 2010 blocked the tax extensions for those making under $250,000 unless those making over $250,000 were included and were willing to let the cuts expire for everyone if the cuts weren't extended for those making over $250,000? That is who you are talking about right??
