Actually, it was hotter back in the 1930's.

Hot weather seems to come along with economic lethargy.

Actually it is the denial crowd that is paid by the oil, coal and gas interests...The scientists are generally unbiased, so stop with the big energy propaganda, and please, please cover that bald knob of yours...It is disgusting!

The global temperatures continue to rise as the June 2012 was the fourth warmest June since record keeping began in 1880. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scientists said that the average global temperature over land and ocean surfaces was 61.03°F, 1.13°F above the 20th century average.

The clear sign of ongoing global warming is also the fact that the June 2012 also represents the 36th consecutive June and 328th consecutive month with a global temperature above the 20th century average. Climate Change Articles

It's warming even faster in the arctic.....Arctic sea ice extent for June 2012 averaged 10.97 million square kilometers (4.24 million square miles). This was 1.18 million square kilometers (456,000 square miles) below the 1979 to 2000 average extent. The last three Junes (2010-2012) are the three lowest in the satellite record.

It is comforting in these debates to have the statistics, facts and records on my side of the argument...

Why do people still say things like "Man, it's Hot!" or "It sure is hot out today!"?

Global Warming is Real!!!
How about you do some research and not come off as an ignorant tool? The weather in the US is hot because the La Nina event is pushing the polar jet stream north. NOAA La Niña Frequently Asked Questions

Typical. You start your temperature measurements deep inside the Little Ice-Age, and then dishonestly characterize any warming OUT OF THE FREAKING ICE-AGE as abnormal signs of man-made global warming.

But then people like you are the same tools who think the oil companies are trying to manipulate people, while ignoring the hundreds of billions the US government has been pouring into the green energy movement. The oil companies can never hope to compete with the bottomless wells of borrowed taxpayer money. Just with the now famous Solyndra, 0bama poured $500 million into green energy, how can any oil company compete with that kind of irresponsible spending?

What the hell ARE you talking about? A poster said it was hotter in the 30s, so I showed him a temperature graph that clearly shows that it wasn't...What is your problem? I said nothing about the cause of climate change so by assuming what I think, you have just made an ass of yourself

Politics be damned, I really don't care if you believe the climate is changing or not, or what is causing it because your denial, or my belief in the evidence will change nothing.

He's on your side. Your attacking your own.

He's a big fan of Poe's Law. I think he gets off on the comments he gets.
