The President said that if you built your business you didn't do it alone. He also indicated that because of that you are obligated share your success with others, and he's willing to tell you where and how.

As if businesses didn't share their successes, their money, their knowledge with their communities locally or at large.

When we listen to Obama, we can't just listen to his words. We have to read between the lines too. If people had done that initially, he would never have been elected. It's not just what he says, it's what he means by it e.g. he has shown us his idea of 'fundamental transformation'. It isn't what most of us expected, is it.

- there is no requirement for the president of the harvard law revue to be published.

No, he said that you didn't get there alone. There is a difference. Not every smart and hard working person makes it in this country, that's capitalism.

To point out that a teacher, preacher, your employees, Eisenhower's interstate system, your electrical grid, etc all helped York business succeed.

That isn't an insult, that's a reality.

He was advocating for highway funding. Something most people say we badly need. Better then wasting money on a third fed audit every year. It'd be nicer to have roads, and overhaul the tax system so men who make millions have to pay some income tax.

The only miracle is that this under-performing, Marxist-leaning, anything-but-the-GOP, guilt buster-blunder was elected past any post beyond Illinois.

The only other miracle is that people praise him merely for the tone of his skin as some sort of vengeful rebuttal against "the system", forgetting he is a perfect example of what a prime tool can do for "the system" with the right timing and the correct use of his direct predecessor, that cowboy child Bush, Jr. How coincidental and right on cue he was. Still, people need faith and there you have him, the miracle from Hawai'i all dressed up and pressed to thrill.

In fact, it is an amazing miracle for America that people actually pay any serious mind whatsoever to either of these candidates or even the entire political arena as it is nothing less than a cheesy soap opera. Yet race and skin is too important for either proponent of the American society and we all must fret over it or prove to others how sophisticated our views have become with the darker-skinned folks residing in our nation. Rather sad, but America isn't known for ravishing intellect outside of how to hustle a dollar or playing pretend on the recess yard or the weekend bar or wherever else self-aggrandizing lies are convenient. Plus, money! Look how much we need and how much we don't have- even if you jealously bleed out every billionaire in the country. But there will be 'free' healthcare! Americans have such an issue with reading bank statements that improvement in that skill would be a miracle, indeed. Perhaps Professor Collectivist can work on that and cease convincing his/her students that assuming a 'correct' political theory makes for a passing grade.

How untrustworthy of Mr. Obama to not reveal his past relevant history due to everyone racist hating on him. Perhaps that discretion is a miracle, proof he is divinely humble and aloof? Or perhaps that fleshes out his purported lean toward Marxism? Or maybe, quite simply, he is serving his purpose and making Americans look foolish while doing nothing but delivering corporatized healthcare, impersonal drone strikes and gutting 'evil' dictators, who just get sent off to Club Med? But everyone must have Romney's tax records because he's rich and he's white and we must face it: American whites must dislike themselves as they are too homogenous and boring. Who cares if this Willard guy is Mormon as long as you forget Barry told Matt Lauer and millions of people about his Muslim faith (yeah, go ahead, ignore it, excuse it: Your rather odd messiah is playing a delicate character and the miracle that this bad joke is even tolerated... proves that racism still exists... blah-de-blah, blah...). No, Holy Obamanites, Romney is no better. The true miracle is alive ! since either of these bad actors are considered as would-be leaders of anything but what they are good for: a traveling circus, traveling quite light, pails of ointments and cures banging against the wood of the wagon as the ruts in the ground are plowed ever-deeper.

Oh, miracles! Does America need another?

Mitt flips on every topic, but this one was even more expected because his Olympics speech mirrors Obama's speech almost word for word. Every time he brings it up, he is basically ripping himself.

When you see the two speeches side by side, you have to believe Obama was copying Mitt's speech---the very speech that Mitt is now criticizing the content of. He's such a flip-flopper, can't recognize his own thoughts when they are repeated by others.

Yes, I saw them side by side and they look like copies. I wonder if Obama did it in purpose knowing Romney would tear into his speech, and make himself look like a hypocrite criticizing someone for saying the same stuff he said.

That would be cleaver, wouldn't it.
